MEET DR. RAMIreZ

Dr. Ramirez was born in Chicago and moved to El Paso, Texas at the age of five. He lived there until graduating high school, and then attended Texas Tech University for his Bachelors degree. Dr. Ramirez then moved to San Antonio and attended Dental School at the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental Branch.

After receiving his dental degree, Dr. Ramirez moved to Chapel Hill, NC to complete a residency at UNC Dental Branch. He worked as a general dentist in North Carolina for almost two years. Later he moved to Oklahoma to attend the University of Oklahoma Dental School and obtained a Masters Degree and certificate in Periodontics.

Dr. Ramirez enjoys and regularly attends professional meetings and acquires several hours of continuing education each year. He has a strong passion for his practice and to expand his knowledge as often as possible in the field of Periodontics.

Dr. Ramirez has been blessed with three incredible daughters whom he enjoys spending his free time with. He also enjoys various outdoor activities and sports such as camping, fishing cycling, running and swimming. Dr. Ramirez makes every attempt to give back to the community and God by participating in mission work on both local and international levels.

Dr. Marx is a passionate dental professional who graduated from Central University of Venezuela in 2004, where he earned his dental degree. Not stopping there, he specialized in Oral Surgery and then completed a second specialty in Periodontics at Nova Southeastern University in Florida. Both of his specialties focus on implantology, and he’s done extensive research on what makes dental implants successful.

Dr. Marx is all about providing top-quality care and building real relationships with his patients. He takes the time to explain everything and answer questions, because he believes an informed patient always makes the best decisions about their oral health.

He’s an active member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontology, and the Academy of Osseointegration. Plus, he’s fluent in English, Spanish, and German, making it easy to connect with a diverse range of patients.

Outside of work, Dr. Marx loves hiking, live music, watching movies, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
